New Priest in Charge for East Hardwick

Rev Ian Bullock is now the new Vicar of Pontefract and Priest in Charge of Carleton and East Hardwick. In this role, he will have overall responsibility not just for St Stephen's but also for Carleton and three churches in Pontefract (St Giles, All Saints and St Mary's). He will be working closely with our Associate Priests - Fr Rod and Rev Kate and also with our PCC and churchwardens. Ian will be based at St Giles and will live in Pontefract vicarage. He is already familiar with Pontefract, having served as a curate at St Giles before taking on his own parish. He joins us from Littleborough in Lancashire with his wife Mikki (who is a Yorkshire lass). Ian will lead worship and preach at all the churches as part of his ministry and we look forward to seeing him in East Hardwick in due course.

Fr Rod and Rev Kate will continue to lead our worship at St Stephen's and St Michael's and we do not anticipate any major changes in the near future.

We pray for God's blessing on Ian's ministry and that he and Mikki (and their dogs) will settle in well to their new home and enjoy being back in our area.
